Community Matters - Catch up with Sarah at the Creamery

It’s another takeover at the Creamery Marketplace Courtyard!

Pick up a yard sign, ask questions and find out how you can help during the final 10 days of the campaign (hint: walking for a campaign is something everyone should try once).

Or, just sit down, play some games and enjoy the evening. We are almost there, and the response from the community continues to be great!

Walk with Sarah

Sign up through MobilizeAmerica to volunteer to walk with Sarah an evening or weekend between now and November 6. It’s the most important thing we can be doing to get out the vote for Sarah’s campaign.

SLO U40 - Alternate Event

I am sending a surrogate to the SLO U40 candidate speed dating event (my awesome husband), because I can’t be there. I live with a disability and the venue chosen by the organizers is not able to provide accommodation for my disability.

SO… I wanted to invite everyone to come on over to 7 Sisters Brewing the next night so you can have a chance to actually get to meet me, since #levelplayingground removes barriers for participation in government. Ask your questions, hear about my platform and understand why I’m running and where I’m coming from in leadership. The amazing crew at 7 Sisters Brewing has food & beverages available for sale, and there are plenty of board games to keep the kiddos busy.

We need new generations participating in government, providing voices for our concerns, as well as those of others. RUN FOR SOMETHING has endorsed my campaign for SLO City Council as part of its effort to build a diverse, progressive bench of leadership at all levels of government nationwide to set the stage for a better future. I am thrilled to work with the crew at RFS as 1 of 631 endorsed candidates around the country (out of more than 18,000 who have signed up to run now or in the future) to start bringing a new generation to government.
